Try painting the rear wing on the outside and covering it with a nice shiny layer of clear vinyl so that still blends in with the shiny body surface instead of that matte polycarbonate paint finish. [:)]

My first bad moment was whith my first R/C car : The Ford Ranger F150. A friend came by and asked if he could try it. I said yes and (I do not know it to second exactly) after 4 seconds my complete front was bent and the FRP plate shredded to pieces. The repair costed almost half the price of a new one (price new car was 8000BF and repair costs were 3200 BF).

ps. : Do you know that a Porsche 956 can do shopping on his own ??

Wel mine could. Going full throttle I lost control. The car launched itself on a curbstone in a curve. At that same instance the shop in that corner 's door opened and the car flew staight in. I had to go and pick it up with my head redder than a tomato . Luckily nothing was broken but I never forget how embarrased I felt!

Ah, all those good moment bring back nice memories !

greetings

just had another bad momnent. Been collecting bits from all over for my SS project, it's taken 3 paintjobs and now it looks good, got round to starting to stick all the goodies on the body, had them all last night ready. Today one of the rear light lens has gone AWOL, had the house upside down looking for it. I think it might have dropped into a pile of washing, by now it could be halfway to the sea! I just can't find it anywhere. I'm gutted [:(!]

Several layers of clear on top also works... works fine for me when painting Tamiya touring car side mirrors - and no other gloss paint can match the lexan paintjob.

My worst Tamiya moment is definately trashing my Hotshot because I always wanted a Supershot! It was back in 85-86!I was really annoyed that my father would not buy me a hop-up suspension kit for my Hotshot let alone a Supershot so I got my anger out by hitting it on the pavement, trying my best to get alot of damage done!

What a shame!!!!!!!

It is racing blue from Pactra. I bought the Tamiya PC4 blue for it but I decided I wanted to spray it instead.

My worst moment was when I realised I was addicted to Tamiyas......

Hello my name is Simon and I am a Tamiyaholic.

My real worst moment of late was when I took my pride and joy LB out last week (precisley one week after it was completely finished) I was steaming it around as you do, it hit an "invisible" curb went onto its roof slid along the road and managed to find its way through a whole load of loose gravel.

There arent many things worse than seeing a line of bright yellow paint leading up to a LB on its roof in a pool of gravel, surfice to say when I followed the line up to the truck, turned it over, tears had to be surpressed.

My mother (I was 12) bought a new battery because one of the cells on the original package battery vented the first weekend of running my Wild one. Got stuck on the phone talking top a m ate about his new frog and left the battery charging. You guessed it melted the thing. Cost Mum 80 bucks and she never let me forget it.

Don't feel too bad... I'm told someone walked into our local Tamiya specialist hobby store with a half built Frog wanting to sell it back to them for A$50.

When i took my Baja Champ for its first proper spin after xmas. I was running it on a playground it hit and invisible pot hole flipped onto its roof and skidded for about 10-20 meters upside down. Looks like that shell will become my regular runner [:D]

Some one accidentaly stepped on my new built Super Champ body. Cracked it pretty bad...even the fog light went thru the body. Luckily, the new built Rough Rider body was unharmed...it was only inches away.
