What cars are you currently on the look out to get? everyone must have at least one car they want that has eluded them? or perhaps they have a list of targets?

I have a huge list of cars I would add to my collection but only a few of them are actually Tamiya's my current most wanted are...

there are a few more car that I would also like to add to my collection but I'm in no great rush and I'm prepared to wait until they come my way at the right price... Wild One, Super Sabre, Jugganaut 2, Striker?, Hot Shot 1?, Subaru Brat?, Super Shot?, Mad Fighter and Terra Conquerer Or Top Force?

I'm also on the search for certain Kyosho Items...

I'm also after other rare cars and of those by far my most WANTED car of all was the NICHIMO COSMO SHOOTER But I've Got one now also I would really like an Original RC10 and other stuff like a Varicom Big Grizzly, Traxxas Radicator/TRX1-3/TCP, Marui Big Bear, PB ACE, AYK Sidewinder (Yellow Cage version), Yankee Electra, MRC Road Winner, Robbe Navajo and heaps more.

i've been lucky enough to get a few of the cars i really want. But still to get are Avante + 2001, Egress, Super Astute, 959 + Celica. I would love a Losi XXX4 and Associated B4 too.

My next vehicle will be a Knight Hauler semi truck. I pretty much got about everything I want. Really I want to down size a little. It's just so hard to let some of them go though

I'd love to get a 3 speed but until I run into a lot of cash or get very lucky, I can't see myself owning one! Realisticly I want to get an XC and a clod. I'd also love to get a Delta Integrale, 190 Evo, Loctite R33 and maybe a willy's wheeler.

I recently dawned on me that after a years of searching and trading I now lucky enough to have all the models I want [] (plus a lot that I have and don't really want any more) Just waiting for my Wheeler to wing its way across from Canada.

Once I got bitten by the tamiya bug again, a few years back I basically went on a spending spree like many others - now I've got a loft full of stuff that I never look at anymore and is doing no good to anyone. So lots of it is going to be sold at some point (wldnas - I can probably help you out on a Avante, Wild One and Top Force if you are still looking)

My showroom is going to have a complete overhaul in the next couple of months to reflect my collection as it stands now, which will be basically the cars I love and have on display or play with. I figure if I don't like it enough to have it on display or play with then I probably shouldn't have it.

All that said, I still keep my eye on ebay everyday, just in case any bargains crop up[] The one car I would get if I got the chance is either/both of the first two porsches. I'm passed paying way over the odds anymore though so I've got enough cars to keep me occupied until one falls in my lap at the right price.

It's got to be a Ferrari 312t3 + JS9 Matra.They never seem to come up at the right time for the right money or condition so I've started to collect the parts for one of them.It's gonna take forever and a day to get all the bits though[V]

I Actually Own a King Cab, or actually whats left of it, i took it apart hopeing to finding a new chassis a few years ago and have lost most of the parts, (still got the Leathol weapon ][ belt drive tranny for it though if anyone interested)

I Acutally think the Mad Bull Looks like fun, and to get another Super(king now i guess) Blackfoot, always a bast.

I'd love an Egress or Top Force Evo and a Bruiser, but I've got to build/restore the cars I have (my complete Super Shot is still in pieces, waiting to be assembled, plus I have two Frogs and a Hornet to rebuild!) first before I let myself buy anything else!

Recently, the TA02W Castrol Toms Supra has caught my eye as well.

I have my one and only shelf-queen (my 959) and my flat is too small for any more so that makes it easy to stop collecting more pretty cars!

And I have my NIB Jeep so once that is built I will have my everyday runner for messing around in the confined spaces you find in London.

So the only other one I need will be a runner for the rare occasions that I can get my act together and get out to find large areas of open space to play in. I just don't know what car to get... all I know is that it will have to be absurdly fast!! Ideas anyone?

Saw some Kyosho MP7.5's on the TV recently - they looked insanely fast! Not sure what your choices would be for off-road, fast and the scale looks that the Wrangler and 959 share.

Like some others here, time, space and funds mean reining things in for a while. However, if money was no object, then a really nice 3-speed would be lovely. Just something about them I guess. And a Rough Rider, and a full set of XC's, and, and, and ..... []

That's because i want back all the type of cars i had when i was like 14-15 years old.

I like anything with a hard plastic body. I also like the mini series, and anything which looks like a street car. I'm also starting to try and find old Traxxas cars. A Traxxas Wildcat would be an especially rare find.

I'm also looking for the right gold-tub RC10, especially after watching (and not bidding on!) a (badly listed) new one go one ebay for about $100 a few months ago.

i got bit by the tamiya bug as well, but now my attention has turned towards F1 instead of touring cars. i've located about half of the collection that i intend to have.

tamiya cars collected thus far:

ferrari 412T1 (paid a lot for this)

sauber c12

lotus 107b

bmw schnitzer m3 evo (selling or trading this one; nice car but doesnt fit my collection)

414 prototype (always wanted a nib to build, and so i did :-)

tamiya cars i want and will eventually acquire:

mclaren mp4/6 (toughie, i know, but hopefully x mas will bring some sellers)

jordan 191 (almost got one, but the seller asked too much; he ended up making less on ebay than he would have if he sold to me)

wldnas: i've seen some jugg 2's in japan websites w/street prices on them, but importing them may be expensive. do some searches through japan online retailers.

the guy tamiya-rc also has the celica and the porsche 959 listed as well. i acquired my schnitzer from him, and he's pretty fast but i'd ask for better packing material since its coming from overseas. prices can be high but if you gotta have it you gotta have it.

Well I finally got one of the buggies I so desparately wanted today. A Wild One, new built. I am very happy!

I do want an Avante someday as well.

This is the second time round for collecting for me, first time round I had (off the top of my head)

Hi-Lux 3 speed, Pajero MYW, Ford ranger F-150, Scorcher, Wild One, Mini Cooper (all 3 types) Wild Willy, Monster Beetle, Blackfoot, Midnight Pumkin, Grasshopper, hornet, terra scorcher, bush devil, Ford Escort RS, Lancia Delta Integrale, Ford Mondeo, King Blackfoot, Lexus GS400 and many more 'normal' cars.

This time round has seen:

2 Isuzu Mu's, 2 Pajero XB's, Juggernaut, Wild dagger, king blackfoot, Mini Cooper (M03), Peugeot 306, numerous clod busters.

I've got a few non Tamiya cars, a pair of Kyosho Landmax's a subaru impreza and a mitsubishi lancer evo.

I'm always getting to the point where I think I won't spend any more now and then something comes up at a 'too good to miss' price. I've always been hankering after a T-maxx (I ad an e-maxx and loved it) but they have been too expensive until yesterday when a skint mate offered me his battered t-maxx with broken a broken suspension arm for £70. I ripped his arm off and took it home. Upon closer inspection I realise its one of the new TRX 2.5's so I'm well chuffed with that.

I find that my taste changes over time and where I once wanted a 3 speed truck really badly, I know like the XC stuff and I'm not too fussed about the 3 speeders... strange hey

I'm not too worried about a new car, but it'd be cool if someone made some decent 190mm retro bodies!

Parma and Bolink do some sweet ones, but they look a bit too wide on a TB01 chassis, even with the 'go-wide' kits on.

Very nice on a savage though[]

Well after amassing over 25 Tamiya cars in a short space of time I have finally worked out that my favourite car is my original scorcher given to me as a xmas present back in '82!!!!! will now be getting rid of all the rest.....well, keeping the SRB's for spares.

I've always wanted a Frog, I check E-bay At least twice a day to see what a nice one for a nice price will show up!

Also always loved the blackfoots, just got a King For my Birthday, had a Super when i was younger. Great trucks, can ya tell I love the old frog chassis.[8D]
