Just bought another Baja Champ off Ebay.... My partner has wanted one since I got mine so we could race.... Anyway - Stellamodels had them up for US$60 so I snapped one up AU$139 landed att he door.... Not bad at all

Not bad at all. That is about what they sell for at Tower before you pay the shipping here in the USA. I just wish you could by parts (like tires) for the darn thing. (I need a set of rear tires/wheels for the BC)

My only *real* complaint with the Baja Champ is rear suspension bottoming out very easily.

The rear tyres can be ordered easy here in Australia.... Can post up some prices for you - happy to act as go between if you're desperate

I 'solved' the bottoming out with the CVAs and some springs I had laying around. It's not perfect but much much better.

Right! The wheels are not a problem. But for some reason I cannot order the tires here in the USA. Very strange!

The tyres are about AU$20 per pair here - So I doubt you'd see see change from US$20 to get them over to you on a slow boat for one pair.

Ofcourse there's ways and means (bulk/group buy?)...
