Hi

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could fit a 7-cell hump pack battery onto a Wild Dagger without modifying the chassis too much? Any help would be great!

Cheers

what you could do, if you have a 7 cell battery pack, is on the end of the pack where the bottom cell goes across, cut off the heatshrink tubing, and then you'll see how the extra cell is connected.

Use 5-10cm wire, solder on each side of that cell, put the last cell somewhere in the chassis, and then it should fit just like a 6-cell pack.

For the end-cap, use the top end-cap where the battery wires come through, from an old battery, or just use elecrical insulation tape, or heatshrink if you will.

Edit:

Didn't notice you said it was a HUMP pack. Same thing though, just cut off the heatshrink, solder some longer wires for the 7th extra cell, and put on new heatshrink. Just use a normal hair-dryer, it'll shrink it just fine. 1 meter of heatshrink costs like $5.
