hi

i believe the stardard Top Force uses frp for the top and lower deck? Well i trying to get my Top Force looking nice and i was wondering what to do to get these pieces looking clean and smooth again? The bootom deck has lots of scratches from years of putting in and removing batteries. Once the shiny top finish of the frp is scratched will it always be like that or is there a way to polish it back to its original look? I don't want to do anything without getting some advice incase i make it worse.

Thanks

There's not really any way to make it look like new again if there are scratches.

But you can make it look shiny and nice by just washing it properly, and then waxing it a little with something like the wax you use for your ordinary car.

Apply a bit of varnish or polytrol over the scrached areas, then use a dremel with a felt tip (sorry for the english I mean the stuff used to clean your ears ...) with tooth paste and there you are with a superb polishing weapon. Works fine with lexan to.

If the previous solutions do not provide the results you want, then you can order new upgraded plates (made of carbon fibre) from www.fibre-lyte.co.uk. I have used these parts before and they are very very good. They beat the FRP parts easy....
