M02-M or M04-M bodies

Hi,

by my knowledge there are not so many Tamiya bodies for the M02-M or M04-M chassis available. So therefor I was wondering if there were any aftermarket bodies available?

Is this the 225mm wheelbase? If so HPI make/made bodies for this wheel base including MX5, Honda Civic, Merc A Class, Golf & Polo. There are pictures on their site at

but they are mostly marked as 'discontinued'. I have seen them occasionally on ebay US and Germany. HTH. David

Hi David,

Yes indead, it's the 225mm wheelbase version. HPI has made some but those which are still available (Honda Civic and Mazda MX-5 Miata) don't look very nice, but naturally the question is which company can meet Tamiya's quality...

I've got a couple of the HPI VW Golf and Polo bodies that are 225mm wheelbase. They aren't that badly detailed compared to some of the full size 1/10th touring car bodies that are out there.
