CVA Short Shock Set

Hi Im a new member who is building a Monster Pumpkin and is trying to fit all the upgrades from the start. Ive ordered the light set and a complete bearing set but I want the CVA Short Shock set (Pt. No. 305). Time Tunnel models have told me they are no longer available but I would really like to fit them.

Has anybody got any ideas where i can get some or has anybody got any they are willing to sell me.

The original shocks mentioned in the manual have been discontinued. They have been replaced by "50520 Tamiya CVA Short Shock Unit Set II". You need two sets (each set is a a pair of shocks). I'm assuming by Monster Pumpking you mean the Midnight Pumpkin.

Thats what I thought but i wasnt told that by Time Tunnel, they said that they wouldnt fit.

And you are right I did mean Midnight Pumpkin.

When building these shocks you want to build them with the short ball ends and make them the 80mm length for the Pumpkin.

The 50520 set will fit the Pumpkin Behemoth; I've got them on my Pumpkin. Though the description of them doesn't normally mention the Pumpkin, the instructions do. See http://www.cosmic-cat.co.uk/images/rccars/...ck_Box_Rear.jpg for a scan of the box rear which shows this.

Just got two sets on ebay for only $14 ea. so should have them in a few days. Just got to wait for all the parts to arrive so building can begin in earnest. Thanks for your help guys, just got to get the radio set and esc.
