2nd hand Blitzer Beetle value?

I was wondering what would be a decent price for a second hand Blitzer Beetle.

I found one on a 2nd hand sell-off site in the NL, but i was curious if the price asked was alright for it.

This is what i'm on about: http://fotos.marktplaats.nl/fotos/verzamel...elbouw/6754.jpg

It's going for €50,- is that a good price?

Regards,

Ordo (who will probably pay the 15 pounds as soon as he's able to transfer money to his paypal account)

Well, it does look pretty used i must say, and unless it has radiogear, i would say that 50 euros is a bit steep for that car.. Also, you have no way of knowing if gears etc. aretotally worn out..

I suggest, that if you really want a BB, you should enter an add here on the site, and search perhaps for either a new built or a NIB car instead.

The NIB retail price here in Denmark for that car was approx. 100 euros when i bought my NIB Blitzer last fall..

Good luck on acquiring a car for your needs..

the seller is a bit optimistic on his cars.....

I sold him the pajero he is selling:

he says it is complete and in good condition.... it is missing parts (body parts) and has very bad painted taillights...things I showed on pics and told when I sold it.

so I guess he is not very "accurate" when describing what he sells...and making pics from the best angle...

ha has been buying like crazy over the past few months... (king tiger comes from a friend of mine 3 weeks ago, and opel ascona from another 1 week ago) I think he has spent a bit too much [;)]

not telling you what to do...but this info might help you to decide.

I think € 50 is a bit much as well. I bought a New built one for € 75,- with a new manual for € 2.50 at the Reyne sell out. (it was missing dogbones and cups). They asked € 100,- for it.

Ordered the at RC-Speedworld together with a re-release grasshopper as well[:D], they're a great shop.

Where is rc speedworld located might wanna check out that shop then!

Personally i think Pk racing is a good shop to loads of demo models and of course a cool indoor track. Only thing is its a bit far away from me[V] And marktplaats good be badword or heaven cuase you could buy things cheap or pay to much. Selling stuff overthere is very funny to i last had someone wanting a thing i had for sale but 9 out of 10 times you have to post the item but this time he was within 15 minutes after the first replay at my home. And ofcourse I sold my dads real mondeo on it for 14.000 [:P]

I might be possible to go there, but if the shop is kind of dislocated of the shopping area and in a living kind of aera i might have been there onces. It was kinda small shop though.

They used to be in the same building as the Kia dealer (Alkmaarseweg i believe), now they have moved to a residential area with an indoor circuit. The shop is quite small indeed. Service is great though, at least that's what i think.

But i mostly order through e-mail and let them sent the parts to me. I go their occasionally.
