Want Countach body and other bits

Am looking for a re-release body to buy for 58005 or 58008. Have up to £50 via PayPal.

Also want the metal brace that the steering servo sits on for the CS model 58008.

Also want body catch pin, only need for one side.

i too am looking for that particular shell, to fit to a tt-01 that i am building for a freind.

are they re-releasing that shell?

i have seen that pro-line are doing an old scool lambo shell.

But keep in mind, taht these socalled rereleases are not exact duplicates. There is one difference between them, the rear lights.

Original 58005 and 08 do have red rear lights, the rerelease does have only white ones!!!!

And the rerelease is only correct on the CS 58008 Countach, the 58005 had a white body.

All true with one misconception. The re release shell does come with the clear tail lights where as the originals came with red, but the originals were NOT molded clear red plastic, they were painted. I found this out when striping an original shell in brake fluid only to find the red paint on the tail lights came off to reveal a pinkish tail light. The re release shells are identical otherwise. The re release tail lights can be painted in clear red to look exactly the same as originals. And yes, the re release shell is only correct for the CS however Tamiya did re release both the 05 and 08 molded in white without the chrome wing and black with the chrome wing but the majority of the re release shells were molded black for the CS. But I have purchased both re release shells in white (non CS) and black (CS)

Are they painted out or inside???

And I think the original window material is harder and fits better than the rerelease windows.

I will have a look at the inside of the bodies, if the modell name is different, as this is the case at the 935 and Ferrari 312T3 bodies.
