Don't get me wrong I think its a really nice model, but it still seems a little high to me. Can it be people are beginning to pay big prices for anything with the VW logo on it?

I wonder how long this trend will continue for? Will we see the day of a 2000 pound scorcher??? The market must tail off after Christmas or nobody is going to be able to afford these cars. A sellers market to be sure.With this massive demand i will have to let one of my scorhcer go, could even be my now almost new built scorcher...

You know if you win an auction on ebay, you are paying more than anyone else in the world would pay for that item.

My neighbor is into vintage 1:1 mustangs. Te bought a mustang bodied go kart a while back for $1200 and then recently bought an extra body for about $600. He was willing to pay substantially more. The thing is, if you want it, you have to pay for it.
