I finally won a Sand Scorcher. Yahooo!!! Not too bad of a price if you ask me. I've a Yellow/Red Body set coming in from Canada. Life's good. Pix to follow.

You got a pretty good deal. Lsat year I sold a Rough rider Chassis for $150 but it was missing the radio box and the tires weren't all that good. You chassis is more complete and looks in better condition. The body looks like it's the original and it appears in good restorable shape. If you don't use the body you could probably resell it for about $70 and make some of your money back. Do you plan to make this a runner? All in all I think you got a good deal.

The chassis looks nice for the money! But the body, like Willy sais, seems to be from MB and the window pillars seem damaged, but since you get another from Canada.... Enjoy it, congrats!

It looks like the body is a reaal sand scorcher. look at the lip around the front wheels arch. the nose cone might be MB as it has the MB license plate and sticker. It also looks like a portion of the tabs are still on the bottom of the nose cone.

looks like scorcher glass anyway. Its clear. You will just have to wait and see...

looks like a MB shell to me, look at the edges of the wings and you'll see they dont curve round.

look at the top of the front wings.

use it for running and keep your ss shell for show.
