My guess is $reserve-not-met(USD).

What a badly-described auction. For an auction which might go really high, I'd expect a better description. I really have no idea what is being sold. Chassis for 934 only? Complete? 935 is body and box only? I'm not enough of a collector to be blinded by the black 934.

Or, is the black 934 so rare that would be sufficient to say: 'black 934 body and stuff'. If so, there's nothing about the 934's condition. Looks used. Is it cracked? Scratched? Missing any plastic details? Or does this not matter either?

No idea why this bothered me enough to post. Sorry. One of those days.

On my watch list..I'm curious..

Going by my experience not alot. A tried to sell my 935 new body set a few months back but highest bid was 50 pounds (75USD) which did not meet my reserve. I was really suprised as it a genuine one whith 1979 as the year on the trees. I thought to myself what would i pay for it if i saw it on EBAY, well more than 50 quid anyway!

I think it will make a large amount but as you say, condition is not specified. I guess 1308.27. (There is always some idiot that adds the extra tiny amount for no known reason...)

If practice makes perfect, and no one is perfect, why practice?

I think it might make quite a lot , looking at the pics it doesnt look used much and it looks as if its a black 934 complete with a new 935 complete bodyset . I think the reserve will be met ( the guy sold a 935 nib earlier today for $695 , merv got that one , nice one) .

The kind of person to buy it will be someone like me who likes to see the cars built and who in their right mind would build a black 934 from a nib .

I think it may represent a good package and after a few emails and pics you would know the whole story . I bought a badly painted SS bodyset for sub $200 recently because of a poor description / photos , it had new c tree , glass tree + lenses and driver tree with exhaust , so it can be done !

Cheers Alan

I think this auction will definetly go over $1200. I wish I could play but my Sand Scorcher was a big purchase and that feeling has to last a few months.
