HI GUYS!!!

Again once one different kind of question....

How did you come up with your "EBAY ID". On the Ebay there is lots of good id:s (and bad) like the guy from GERMANY "SANDSCORCHER". I think that is the best one. When I though about my so the first trie didn`t make it becuse some had it already[}:)] So I said to my wife just put JERZI( my good friends call me that)and RCCAR so there it was[;)] For me I have to say this, when I sell and buy a lot so you will remember the ID:s, and for me that`s good becuse I higly respected them, if I see some of the ID:s I know. I know that I have lost many items becuse of that, but if you bid against your friend that is just not so good thing.

i chose my one as lister is the name of my favourie character (Mr Lister) on a comedy called RED DWARF. I saw something i wanted one night on ebay that was just about to close so i didn't have much time to register. That name was gone so i added the 999 just to ensure i found a screen name, which i did. I was not into tamiya at the time whch is why its nothing to do with RC but i contemplated changing my screen name but then that looks dodgy and i had already built up a reputation with several sellers which i did not want to loose. Thats my story

My Id comes from a Advanced Dungeons & Dragons action figure called Warduke. It was the first online name I chose for myself. It was however taken in a few places so I added "Real" in front of it.

I am however not THE real Warduke as that honor would go to the player of the character on which the action figure was based.

Warduke also appeared in a D&D adventure module and the D&D cartoon.

Pretty much self explanatory.

My hair started disappearing at the age of 24, now at 29 i'm pretty much shiny on top.[:o)]

Muddy comes from my exploits with my full size Land Rovers and Quad bike[8D]

...boy comes from the 8 year old i act like most of the time (esp. when the word Tamiya is mentioned)[:P][:P]

Mine was at the height of frustration after trying so many things that were allready taken, i was thinking of all different things and decided that anything i bid on would be "simplyawesome" if i got it ,and all the models i wanted are simplyawesome aswell, that and when i was a kid i designed my own graphics for a car as you do[8D] and that was the name [;)] so there it was. Keep thinking about changing it, but what the badword does it really matter??????????[:0][B)][:P]

My Ebay Id came from the movie "Big Trouble in Little China" it stars Kurt Russel as JackBurton. In the movie Jack is just some poor american sap who get stucks in the world that he can't understand. He's quite outspoken and with exception to the last fight scene he always seems to get knocked out of taken away from the battle. In the end he gets the girl but leaves her to drive his truck on the highway re-telling his tale.

I use the name for whenever I play online games. Somewhere on this board is a fellow gamer Days_Boy....where are you junior??

So that's how *JackBurton* came to be. BTW in the old days I used to play as Nathen Quigley from Quigley down under.

I have for a long time been known as Biggus, referring to my somewhat stoutish figure(or should i say fat[:D]), occasionally lengthended to Biggus Dickus, that Roman charactor from Monty Pythons "Life of Brian" also being called Richard, and *** being short for Richard it fitted quite well.

It got altered to Biggus Ditchus after I parked a 180bhp Nissan Cherry Turbo sideways into a ditch at about 60mph, The nickname seems to have stuck though normally shortened to biggus.

My name came from two different sources. The SHO part is because I have a Ford Taurus SHO. the dog part came as a joke. I was creating a Hotmail account and I wanted something funny sounding. There is a rapper named shortdog. So I created the name Shodog.

Funny I had two thoughts about your name:

1. You were into dog shows.

2. Before marriage you were quite the pimp mack daddy [}:)]

Mine (jrozz) basiclly came from Joe Roswell. Short JROZZ.

Another funny lil story....I was feeling quite witty one evening and sent in my subscription to RC Car Action and entered the name Joe Roswell "Yo" just to be a smarta$$. Every month I get a lil chuckle when my magazine shows up.

BTW I noticed that you're shodog1 on hotmail. Did somebody already take that name?

id="quote">id="quote">

I use shodog1 on ebay because some jerky had used shodog. Bummer parts is that they signed on and never used it. when i signed up for hotmail luckily no one used shodog. On the Taurus SHO disscussion board eveyone trys to find an interesting way to use SHO in their user name. SHOman, SHOwandtell, SHOwmeyoursandillshowyoumine and so on.

2wingedterror because my souped up xr4ti scares the he11 out of the local punks who drive eclipses, hondas, and the like. I used to sell xr4ti parts as well. Merkur guys recognize that kind of seller name.

I can't change it here in the forums. Yes, I am change it on the 'normal' TC pages, but they need to be the same in both places...

Nut driver comes from that tool mentioned in the Tamiya manuals... I don't think they know about it's other meaning though... I personally think the manuals are translated by a bunch of non-English speaking Japs and a dictionary! [:o] Even the English of some 16-year old brat from a farmers country like Holland is better! J3cubfan

This is actually an airplane that I've piloted, the J3 Cub. I also have a Carl Goldberg .60 size model of this aircraft as well. Before kids, I used to fly this thing just about every week. Now I am doing good to fly it once a year....
