It's yet another new year and everyone is harping on about what to give up for the New years resolution? I thought they were all about setting yourself a worthy goal for achievement in the new year not going on about what vise you need to give up (which you never do anyway) but what has this to do with Tamiya's?

well what I mean is what Tamiya cars do you plan to restore in the new year? if like me you have loads of tatty old cars that desperatly need some intensive care and attention, then what cars are going to be top of your restoration lists?

For me I think my Super Champ has gotta be done, as well as my Hilux and the Bruiser, I could even be tempted to get around to working on my Sand Rover... but thats asking a bit much at the moment me thinks ;)

I have not set a New Years resolution, I did achieve last years goal (Get a Nichimo Cosmo Shooter ;) and I was kinda hoping to get Boardband internet this year, but any of my much needed Tamiya Resto's would perhaps suffice instead ;)

Well, I have a Tamiya F2 in bits that I bought on a whim that I can't realistically restore, so I'm go to build and clean it and sell it on.

Plus I have a Super Sabre and a Boomerang and some new parts which I am going to finally build up into a display Super Sabre, then I can sell on the Boomerang parts and free up a bit more space in the kitchen.

One new year resolution is to stop buying old stuff to sell on - it's not worth the effort anymore! Plus there's no room for it in my flat!

Getting my Mounty done. I got it exactly a year now and other than taking it apart, stripping the frame and putting that back together - nothing happened yet! There is such a lot that need to be done. [V]

Other than that, most of all the health I need - that's on top of the list, but there is not much 'achieving' from my side at that point. And next to that, finishing more projects than keep comming in, like the previously mentioned Mountaineer. [;)]

I'm gonna turn my stock clod into a racer. Now all I have to do is decide on which kit to get. That is the big question. Get a cheap one at 160 dollars of the whole burrito at 500?[?]
