suspicious auction HILUX

I ve just seen this and it s very strange.

The seller has 0 feedbacks and the actual higher bidder to. But the strange thing is that the seller and the bidder has nearly the same name and come from the same country.

It sure looks like a bid-trap to me! Some poor bidder may get caught up in the bidding spirit [] and suddenly "brother" bidder retracts and second highest bidder is trapped! I'm new, here, and 1 am very impressed with this forum! [^]

I actually emailed the guy and he wants 400 to end the auction ealry but only accepts money orders and not us money orders i told him no thanks dont feel like throwing the money out the window. ANd i did notice that the names of bidder and seller are almost identical.

I`ll BLOCK the guys right away. I hope you do the same. These guys are BUCCANEERS. How stupid can some be. Almost the same ID and they do that. I hope EBAY can do samething about it.[]

Ebay is very funny in one thing wich is very good. If you don`t like one guy so you can BLOCK him so he/ she can`t bid on your stuff. At this moment I have around 15 guys who can`t bid on my stuff or I don`t want to deal with him[].

hard to say.....but by the looks of it the seller had joined ebay

recently,& the buyer has joined in 2002.id say its the same person...

he must be doing it to raise up the price of the auction.i hope he gets spotted....... sanja.

This thread is why the ebay forum should stay. Now the auction may be legit, but I'm not going to throw away my money with a suspicious auction.

This is EXCATLY ONE OF THE REASONS WHY IT SHOULD BE RECONSIDERED...

So what if there is someone nearby.....????

Even if it is dodgy, (I hate the fact that people actually do this by the wayid="red">), Ultimately - you are only going to pay what you want to pay for the thing arent you ?? - there is no one holding a gun to your head saying - "outbid this guy".........

This is a case of labelling someone when you have no real proof.

The guy doesn't except those green US money orders you get at the post office. The green ones can only be cashed in the USA.

I thought I would just remind people to look at the money order they are buying and see where it can be cashed before sending it [].
