Thought I'd lighten the mood!

Every time I visit this forum, I hear grumbling voices, so I thought this would be a change!

I have recently come across a very good seller on ebay who has a lot of good parts from time to time.

Seller name JSourbeck@aol.c** is his ebay ID (I think you can work out what the **s are for) Not sure if he is a TC member, but deserves to be recommended

I recently won 2 of his auctions, and was very impressed with the service.

Managed to arrange payment the same day, and 3 days after that I have received a lovely E tree for the ford Ranger, and a new upper chassis plate for my Avante and just $4.50 postage from the states - It doesn't get much better than this!

I have now bought 3 items from him, with the same exemplary service each time.[:D][:D][:D][:D]

Yeah Jim is a member of the club and has the name corsa65 I think.

I have bought parts from him and would go along wholeheartedly in any praise.

He recently helped me a great deal in getting parts for my old Pajero.

I bought from Jim in the past lots of times and its always been great.

I get the feeling he has loads of stuff but is not completely sure what is all worth (nice position to be in [;)])

Fair comment Jim?[:)]

Ive brought several things from him as well - its not just the stuff he has for auction - if you ask him he has other parts not always listed

Hey Jealouse, where abouts you at in MI? If you draw a straight line between Grand Rapids and Detroit, I am about right in the middle, right off 96.

hi Scott

u must be around/near Lansing... i live in Ann Arbor

wouldnt it be awesome if Jim throws a garage sale full of tamiya parts (for local Michigonians?)!!!

just daydreaming... :)

Ann Arbor, nice town, but a little expensive to live in. I am actually in Fowlerville, about 20 miles east of Lansing. I work in the Detroit area, boy I sure am glad I do not have to drive on US23 anymore! You got any good Hobby Shops down there? The only one we really got is Ryders, right in Lansing. A bunch of kooks who think everybody there is a potential shoplifter. What kind of car are you running, abusing, molesting, restoring, Jealouse? Later!

Hi Scott,

No, the hobby shops around here are terrible. they stock more dinosaur figurings than Tamiya kits...in fact, i don't think any of them stock tamiya kits at all!

not that there's anything worth buying...even Tamiyas...it's not like good old days, u know :)

i'm restoring boomerang to collecting bits of parts evry once in a while but it's been kinda stalled because of the lack of time...

i also have a NIB hotshot and i'm waiting if it will fetch bruiser-kind of money anytime soon... (probably not haha)

later~

I agree with your opinion.

Jim is a nice guy to deal with. I ve bought many times from him and i m very satisfied of the comunication, the shipping costs, and the delivery time.

Only one little problem, waiting for a package since 29 th december. This package maybe the % of packages lost by post mail services, but in any case Jim's fault. All other items bought came as described, in one week to Europe and without problems. For sure a great seller.
