As we aren't allowed to specify auctions anymore, you may want to do an all region search for Tamiya 959 NIB. Plenty there but I think we all know which one is of interest.

Maybe he has finally decided to act as a professional seller this time? The payment method is really scaring as I quite do not see how to get the money back in case of dispute...

And as there is no BIN to end the auction, he could potentially 'sell' it many times over to direct contacts before any one noticed.

Did not even spotted that one... These artists are getting more and more sophisticated. Really scary.

I just saw this one before coming on the site and agree that the payment method is very worrying.

If you want to be a genuine good seller then just make a normal auction rather than a dodgy looking one and then try to convince everyone your serious.

For payment what is better than paypal? certainly not bank transfer[xx(]

Without being too specific I was thinking about bidding on a certain 959 what has a start price of approx $300. I was going to ask if he will take paypal, would this be the same item that you mention?

By the way, how does one report such listing to ebay?

call me slow.....but who is this seller?. is it the same chap who "sold" NIB kits from canada and japan?, he had a load of different user names, and even used this club. or am i barking up the wrong tree here?. i aggree, it does sound a bit iffy though.

madbad jezza you're right and the picture really looks like the one featured in an auction won by one of our sad fellow tc members.

I just reported to ebay that there might be an identity fraud here as the seller was selling something that had been previously sold by another banned member. If you add on top of it that he encourages "off the bay" transactions I assume they will suspend him again.

Let's see...

Normally e-bay should send me a report within one or two days about their investigation, I'll let you know. Obviously they took rapid measures against this crook.

I cant find any NIB 959s anymore... I hope nobody got hurt by this one... sounds like our old friend is back!

I cannot believe ebay let this sort of stuff go on. I am still fighting with ebay for some insurance from a scam over 6 months ago... they keep claiming they will take 72 hours... according to my calculations we are now at 3972 hours!!!!

Give them a brake - the 72 hours is just helping statement to give customers an idea of how long it takes - what's another 3900 hours, give or take?[;)] LOL!!!
