What is it with EBAYER when they wont combine shipping. 5.5usd per item when I buy more of the same guy[:(!][:(!][:(!]

Maybe I should do the same like this guy[:D].

Jerry

PS: Maybe I can do some more cash of it.[:P]

Hey Jerry

Please start being ruthless AFTER you shipped all my purchases [;)]

I can't see why combining is a problem, one box has gotta be less hassle than more.

The only time I paid seperately was for three pairs of shoes, and they all came in seperate boxes/courier bags

5.5usd/ per cf card[:(] how much do you have to work to put an extra cf card in the letter. I can understand if you buy 2 Avante body set but not cf cards[:(][:(]

These are 128mb cards though, and are far heavier than either 4mb or 8mb cards, which can be sent cheaply and easily without fear of personal injury through improper lifting. (probably)

AAA now I understand. If someone buys from me first 1 NIB car and then he wants 1 more the shipping is then ofcourse higher becuase there is 2 of them. Why didn`t you tell me that. Ofcourse 2 cf cards must be higher price of the post costs. Sorry ofcourse you are right how dum I`m[8)]. Sorry again!!!!

Have seen some eBay sellers who, after they've taken the pictures to list an item, they've already parcelled up and labelled the box with the auction number.

Perhaps that's 1 reason why they don't want to unpack & re-wrap everything?

The other reason would be... to charge more $$. Especially if the item is *cheaper* than the postage charge, I'd be suspecting this. It wouldn't be a first by far.

I've done this before, but all I did was taped the two parcels together to form one - and that was for a Holiday Buggy and Rough Rider!

In UK postage prices go up in weight increments - so shipping 2 letters at 50 grams each is more expensive than 1 at 100 grams.

But I can't see in this case why the seller can't do that, I've received bigger things than a CF card in a jiffy bag before now[8)]

I dont mind when that happens if the postage cost was quoted in the auction because you agree to an amount before you bid but its nice if they will combine. Its always best to ask 1st though as some sellers will help, other wont, they just want more money. DOnt't forget that if they chage £5 for 2 lots (£2.50 each) and it comes as 1 lot with £3 on, you could always note that in their feedback. Thats what its there for! Always best to contact them 1st though but then you risk retalitory feedback (negative) so its your call. (Yes i know their feedback system sucks but thats life [;)] )
