I concur with Jimbo. the one on the left is a Frog. Even though fuzzy picture the Frog looks to be in decent shape too.

Heck of a nice lot to find in the boot of a car eh?

Cheers,

Thanks chaps[:D]

I was rather hoping that the LH one was a Frog, but didn't want to get my hopes up. The RH is a bit more of a mystery - just have to wait until it turns up (probably turn out to be some Nikko thing...)

the one on the right looks like a Nikko Rhino. It looks a twin to one my friend had as a youngster when my blackfoot was new. If it is it is in the Hornet blood line and running a 540 motor. Good luck with that Frog and let us know what they are exactily when they arrive!

Thanks for everyone's input so far. The seller tells me that the parcel is en-route, so I will give the verdict when it turns up. Guess I can give the Nikko (if it is one) to my girlfriend's children (can't see it being saleable).

OK, the parcel has turned up. Doesn't look like quite such a good deal now :-(. The guy had rammed it all in a box with just a bit of newspaper for packing. He also charged me £12 for p&p when there's only about £7.50's worth of stamps on the box - ho hum.

The RH car is indeed a Nikko buggy - not a patch on Tamiya as you'd expect, but certainly looks sturdier that the current stuff they put out. Could be a good 'training' runner for my or my girlfriend's children. Must say a big thanks to wldnas for the rundown on these things - cheers buddy.

Onto the Frog; I've had a quick look (2mins or so) and it looks complete and in reasonable nick. Rear tyres are completely perished, as is the rubber 'bag' under the shell, and the antennae. However, the body has no splits and the lights and driver are intact. Also has a set of Futaba radio gear.

Anyway, need to decide whether to keep it (I actually quite like it now it's here) or clean it up and sell/trade (not too flush at present).

Thanks to all that chimed in on this thread [:)]
