I can't see the point in changing it - I've been using ebay 2 1/2 years, and the layout since then was never a problem.

There's a lot more wrong with ebay than the layout[!]

I was just looking thru some stuff, and one seller states he's in Kowloon, Hong Kong/ United Kingdom for one auction and Hong Kong/ United States for another.

Just found one cool thing though, when you click 'watch this item' (once you find it) it stays on the page you were on, instead of having to go back again[]

It also says you're already watching it (if you are)

One new 'feature' annoys me, the "Seller will (only?) Ship to:..." is now plonked right at the bottom. Need to scroll down to see it.

Restrictive Vendors better be prepared for newbie annoyances.

For me all Ebays have changed, need to get used to the new layout but don't think its bad...

i think the "new look" is terrible, what was wrong with the old look?. finding information on the items listing is seriously hard work now. what i do like though.......is the icons tamiyanewbie is using - the drinking smilie faces. where can i get me some of those characters?, are they "home made"?. the one falling over reminds me of myself somehow........

To stop this happening you need to clear your cache (in IE >tools>internet options then choose "Delete files" on the General tab)

I'm new to Ebay, so didn't get used to the old layout, which is probably a good thing for me. The best bit is the "return to listings" link after you put a watch on an item. I got really fed up with double back=paging to get where I was before.

Now they are just another company gotten huge ... It's not so much that they've distanced themselves from their sellers, ie Customers (What most companies make money on) that they don't even care what they want anymore.

Ever try to contact eBay Customer support?

Customer support? whats that!!! when i wanted to register as a seller they had a problem verifying credit card details, i sent many emails (lost count![8)]) to them with no clear response. Then suddenly i was registered (2-3 weeks after my 1st try) and got an email saying they had had a problem. Why they couldnt they have told me that in the first place rather than saying it was my computer!! AAARRRGGGHHH[!]

I'm with WillyChang... the "will ship to USA only" info is practically HIDDEN. The problem in Canada is 80% of Americans have no problem shipping here even if they're staunchly USA only; the other 20% are strange and threaten neg. feedback etc (ARGGH). so lately I've just been ASKING everyone (major pita).

Just thought I'd rant along with everyone. It was way cleaner before anyway.

I hate it.

It seems to take longer to load a page over dialup. I missed a snipe because I cut it too close. Auction ended before I got the page to reload..

Also, all the info I need is scattered all around...

I too *HATE* the new look. As others have said, eBay just does what they want without care what anyone thinks.

Frankly I am nearly fed up enough with eBay that I may just not use them anymore between their awful customer service, high fees, plethora of crooked vendors and other personally annoying things I won't go into here.
