I would send the guy the money, no problem, that was the deal after all, trouble is the complaints procedures prevent you from waiting a 'reasonable' time by limiting your time to complain.

And, in all fairness, as Jim says, things can and do arrive quick, so when something didn't get here yesterday, bells start to ring.

My stuff arrived Friday - the guy had sent it 'surface' and it took 6 weeks to the day.

I think paypal should review their policy, as you can complain up to 30 days, but that doesn't cover the period for surface transit.

Had a parcelled Avante disappear for 3+ months over the Pacific.

Posted Dec 1999 (paid for airmail), arrived only late Mar 2000.

Must have taken the wrong chute and ended up on the boat. []
