I have recently brought a new camera and was out with my car to get some pics but found that all i could get was a blur of the car as it drove past me. Does any one have any photography hints and tips i could try to get some better pictures.

Thanks Matt[:D]

hey

try slowing the car down a bit, and moving the camera with the car as it goes past. Or step back so your not so close n you should find you wont get so many blurred pics. [;)]

You need to increase the shutter speed, ie reduce the length of the exposure. You might also need more light.

If it's an automatic camera, it might have a 'sport' mode, try that. If you have a 'real' camera, then use shutter priority mode to set the shutter speed to 1/500th of a second or greater. If it's a film camera, get a good fast film at least 400 ASA, and do your photography outdoors on a good bright day.
