Motor help

After installing my new motor, a faster stock, I've noticed that (if this makes sense) when I run the motor and let go of the 'throttle' all movement seems to stop alot quicker than when i had the standard 540. Is this because its a stronger motor that it has more resistance to turning freely? The gearing in my car is all still fine and there is nothing obstructing movement, and it still runs fast.

Yup, stronger magnets and also larger back EMF (voltage) induced by the motor during braking.
