I know the bear hawk is another one of those cars that is not the most popular among collectors - just wandered why that was.

The hard bodies on them are quite nice and remind me quite a bit of Rough Riders bods - do you think it would be possible to mount one on a RR. I 've got a feeling that the radio box would get in the way - but it might work on a boxless RR runner or even a super champ?

Any ideas?

Hi Chris:

Speaking from experience the Bear Hawk looks great but performs horridly (is that a word??). Anyway, the buggy sit too low to the ground and gets stuck over some of the smallest ruts. Here's my review on the vehicle.

As for mounting the thing on a RR. The body itself is pretty shallow. In fact when I mounted an ESC, I had remove the driver figure. So I don't think that you would easily mount this on a RR. Also keep in mind that this thing used a Falcon Tub type chassis. Whereas the RR, used that Curcuit board type chassis. I plan on restoring mine and just keeping it as a shelf queen.

Good luck Chris,

I'd love to see it when it finished....
