This sort of thing is just silly IMHO.

I dealt with him before. Sold him some optima mid stuff. Seems ok. Fast paying no hassle deal.

BTW, that yellow body on the mid doesn't looks quite right...???

Still, that listing seems to border on a gray area of violating eBay policies, ie, a "want ad" that solicits buying or selling outside of eBay. All of this done in the guise of selling a picture of his car?

seems fair enough to me - cheeky though []. he,s just won one of my auctions for a set of option house gold shock absorbers - i think i might of sold some optima stuff to him before...[?] - dunno though...i,ve been asleep (or drunk) a few times since my last sale...[].

Maybe he is on the level and just trying to get into contact with other collectors, but hes treading on dangerous ground. People have been arrested in the US for selling on ebay what looks like high end electronics and then mailing a photo of the actual item

I don't have any problem with his disclosure. He clearly stated is for a photo and not in small writing like some insurance policy. I came across a seller who listed a model Jeep not stating that is a 1/35 scale and had to relisted 2 times, that I am aware, where buyer thinking it was the XC model at buy it price of $250.00 and took the bait and I guess backed out when found out is for 1/35 static model. When I wrote him about the missing info he told me "to buzz off, if I can't affort it"
