quote: I really can't remember that item anymore and frankly I don't care
id="quote">id="quote">

If you dont care that you didnt pay for an item you won then there is no reason why I should let you bid further. Its not unreasonable, in fact its common practice for a seller to block non payers from bidding again.

Im the one out on ebay fees for a non completed sale yet you are acting as if im unreasonable for preventing it happening again [?]

Just check some of the threads you started yourself if you need a reminder of the hassles of non payers

I already stated that it is very uncommon, for me not to pay, Could you please enlighten me , if I had email contact with you, and the reson why I didn't pay, this has happened to me a few times, just because I wasn't able to establish any contact with the seller, might this have been the case ??, or did I just plainly say I'm not going to take it ??. I've had 17 unpaid auctions myself within the last month, worth close to 1000 Eur..., so you're not alone [?]

I've had nothing but good experiences with Hong Kong/far east ebayers, including Jason. A big plus I find is usually these sellers have BINs and the shiping cost is given, so no suprises and I don't have to play email tag.

I have also had excellent dealings with Jason, Mini4WD and others. I like the BIN and fixed shipping. You know what you want and exactly how much it is going to cost you. I recently got a TT-01 ali propshaft from Jason - not only was it cheaper than the UK but it arrived in 3 days. My UK purchased one, ordered 3 days before I BIN'd on Jason's item arrived 3 days AFTER jason't and it was thre wrong item they shipped...!

I now have a Dyna Storm on it's way from Jason. Excellent seller - can't fault the guy.

This is not to say UK sellers are no good - I think James at Fusion is excellent and head and shoulders above my LHS who are utterly pathetic. They know nothing, have no enthusiasm, aren't polite and are only interested in taking your money - and lots of it. At £145 for a King Blackfoot Kit then they can keep it...!

Hi,

Nothing but good dealings with Jason myself. I can and do buy from Hong Kong sellers as often as possible. Parts are cheap and arrive quickly.

Timetunnel are good as well, quick postage of items and reasonable for prices, [^]wish they had more vintage stuff over here.... Fusion agreed on that one [^][^] My LHS is so macho (being a girly this can be a pain in the A***) I almost grow a willy and hair on my chest from all the testosterone floating about in there its all Nitro and Racing bits... (note to self: avoid LHS) and I get looked at like i have come to pick up my husband/son or somefink [xx(] cant be asked.... Harrow model shop is a bit better, i have seen other girly's in there [:D]

professorslot - I sent a payment reminder, which after receipt you apologized and said you would pay soon. I overlooked it after that - probably because of a trip I took not long after the reminder was sent but definately had to relist.

My past dealings with jr-rc (Jason) has always been a most pleasant experience and he has always been very helpful.

Jason is a very decent and honest person, I just wish he was selling stuff on eBay like 50inch Plasma TVs and all other sort of goods so I can do all my shopping through him.

I've been on ebay since July of '98 and had hundreds of deals. I would rate Jason as one of my top 3 preferred sellers.

If you're going to complain about him you might as well stay off eBay as they just don't get any better.

i have not yet bought something from jason,

so can't judge over that, but looking at feedback it would

be safe.

But i do have dealed quite a lot with the professor,

never had any problems with him. A honest seller.

Did u know 80% of the war's has started over mis-comminication / comunucation failture ? (yes, topic related :) )

just to add, i dealt with jason on an ebay transaction and it was very smooth, got the item well packed and timely. i'm just glad that sellers leave appropriate feedback after transaction, as he left me positive feedback after i have paid. tamiya-rc on the other hand didnt even bother giving me feedback after buying my former BMW Schnitzer and his packaging was questionable.

keep up the good work jason.

professor: uncommon but not unlikely? dont mean to hound you, but usually if i suspect a seller is shady and i cant reach the person, i would not bid on an auction in the first place. if i do bid on something, i'm always fully prepared to pay the amount due.

Well I'am too, don't think this Jason is a shady seller at all, we must just somehow have lost Email contact, as I haven't got a clue why I didn't pay, I don't even remember the auction or anything in connection with it, May be I just simnply forgot(but it's unlikly, as Jason said he sent me a payment reminder, I have received those once or twice before, and that would defintly have been a heads up), I just have to handle to many auctions sometime, I'm one of the few of my friends who speaks and writes descent English, so I'm always stuck with handling transaction for them......[?]. I think the only time didn't pay for an auction item was when I won a Bigwig for 100 USD, and the guy inisted on charging me 250 USD for shipping via UPS........., anyway there's no point in going on about this forever, Jason's feedback is flawless, mine's pretty good as well. If he decides not to do buisness with me that's his decision entirely. I only wanted to know why I'm blocked now I do.

Eh[?] Tamiya Rc is 100% - his packing is excellent, he left feedback and threw in a free set of spare tyres for the Wild One and Willys' bits i had from him... and it came within 3 days of shipping [:D] he and Jason are both A1 sellers [;)]

Jason, the Pajero has landed very nice - thanks [:P]

Tamiya-RC may have good stuff and pack it quite well, but he ISN'T overly concerned about giving feedback. I gave feedback as soon as receiving something but he hasn't bothered (despite me paying immediately via paypal), and this has happened before. No problem with the guy & will continue to buy from him, but I find some of these established sellers aren't too worried once thay've achieved a big feedback score.

Funny you say that - i checked my feedback and nothing from T-RC?? oh well i am not that bothered anyway about the odd one [xx(] i though he had left it [?] still got some tyres for free [:D] I would still get stuff from him ( i cant afford it now anyway [:(] ) still rate him A1 [;)]

not saying tamiya-rc is an awful seller. the item came and it looked pretty good. but definitely not on par with jason.

jason has better descriptions of the condition of items, including box condition!!

jason definitely has better packaging

jason leaves feedback; much appreciated of course

both have good communication

so overall, if jason is an A+, i'd say tamiya-rc is a A-/B+ range based on personal experience. of course i'm only one circumstance. others may have better transactions with tamiya-rc.

Just an update - got my NIB kit from Hongkong Cowboy within a week - excellent packaging, and a very friendly service.

He even left me feedback for this one transaction, despite having a total rating himself of 1500+!

Thoroughly recommended to anyone - Cheers buddy!

Someone reccomended 'monique r store' I think? Does this seller keep in e-mail contact? A friend of mine has bought something from him/her, and hasn't received any e-mails?

monique will reply if you ask her something, oherwise probably not, did when i bought stuff, rate her highly and will do a deal sometimes out of e-pay [;)] good seller and quick delivery as well A1 also, your mate need not worry [:D] These seller do a high volume of sales and dont always have time to e-mail the buyer unless it's something over payment etc... but yup dont panic!!

That's what I thought, he just says he has e-mailed and not got a reply? I'm sure it will work out fine, thanks for the reassurance.

I bought from Monique R Store with no probs. but I don't think they really communicated that much with me. Sent on the manual which they had forgotten to include in the box later, (without me asking for it) so I thikn they are trustworthy, but just not particularly specialists in R/C stuff.
