Does anyone know if the Ripmax pro peak varipulse 2500 charger has the right connections for deans conenctors. As i have just changed the tamiya connectors (on my batteries)to deans, and i dont know what the charger comes with? [8)]

any help aprpeciated, thanks

Hi.

The varipulse comes with standard tamiya connectors, but these can be changed as the charger has a quick release system to change over the charge lead

All you need to do is make your own charge lead and plug it in

Ready made Deans leads cost about a fiver, which I think is way OTT. They are easy to make up, all you need to do is solder a deans plug (female) to a length of wire, strip the other ends of the wire and tin them and they will fit into your Propeak charger.

I've changed all our Tamiya connectors to Deans, I think it's a worthwhile change as the Tamiya connectors are rubbish. Shame they haven't updated them in all these years IMO.
