Helpdesperatley needed, I purchased a Blazing Blazer on Ebay.co.uk, I paid 51 pounds for postage , I was told by the seller that it was posted on the 18.10.2004, He stated that delivery time would be 7 days minimum 14 days maximum, no now we have the 16th of November and still no parcel. I was given a tracking number , on which I can trace the item .I did this on the parcelforce worldwide website at

http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/track?catId=7500082

05-11-2004 07:22 Belfast Central Depot Arrived at delivery depot

04-11-2004 19:48 National Hub Sorted in hub

I'm now starting to wonder what's happening to this parcel, as first it took from the 1.10.2004 to the 4.11.2004 to reach the National hub (that's 14 days) and then at the 11.11.2004 it's back again (at the national hub), being sorted on the 12.11, and 14.11.2004,

Now I would like to know what a national hub is , were it is located and maybe a person I can contact there, as the seller tells me it's out of his hands and there is nothing he can do about it.

I'm very annoyed about this and I'm starting to fear that the Bazer is lost, because before all my items from England arrived within 10 days

Please help

Franz,

Sorry to hear of your problems with the Blazer.

To be honest, I think that it's the sellers responsibility to investigate and find out what is happening while the parcel is still in the source country. Failing that, have a look at the Parcelforce contacts page:

http://' target="_blank">www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw/content1?mediaId=6100016&catId=2500046

The second number should be good for your enquiry.

Good luck.....

Sorry Rammer didn't work, you just get a automated voice, which tells me to contact royal mail ?????????[:(!], I'd like the seller to sort this out for me as well but he's not responding to my emails anymore

Franz, first of all I think it's bad that the seller isn't returning your mails - tracking the parcel down is his responsibilty. If you are going to deal with Parcelforce yourself, then you need to be patient - their customer service is AWFUL. It might be best to email them first (contact details are at the web site that Rammer gave you) to pass on all of the details of the situation. If you are lucky, they will give you the contact details for a 'real' person that you can deal with. This happened to me last year - they 'lost' a Clod - and it was a very frustrating experience until I got the details of a specific person to deal with. I eventually got compensation three months later [:(] Good luck. David

The national hub will be the main Parcelforce sorting/ distribution depot, usually at or near an airport. I wouldn't be too worried yet, international parcels are not an exact science, my guess is that the package is held up in customs or something. Large items are usually given more attention by C&E than smaller ones. My R390 took almost a month to arrive from Japan, I've had other items much quicker, but it got here eventually.

Edit: Just noticed that it's going from England to Austria, not the other way round. Seems odd that it hasn't left the country yet, and moreover, that it went to Belfast, Northern Ireland first? Looks like it may have been mistakenly sent there, which would explain why it has been resorted.
