Warning about a Completed NIB Mountaineer Auction

Hey all:

I had bid on a recently completed NIB Mountaineer on Ebay uSA. My max bid was no where near the selling price. I have since received two "second chance"offers for my bid price. The thing is, one of them was before auction end and wanted to go through a "third" party for payment. The second was from a different user name than the auction was listed by. I also received a warning from ebay about one of the "unofficial offers". Well, I didn't take them up on the offer cause I like my money but just beware....if its too good to be true.....it's probably a rip off. A total of three usernames trying to sell me the same thing? I don't think so!

I had the same offers, strange thing was one offer was from someone with many good feedbacks. Maybe someone was using his ebay name, emailed him but got no reply. Auction 5993536598

I just had a look at that auction some thing is wrong for sure !!

He says money order etc only , then look at his feedback for what hes sold before and it says paypal only .

But thats an RC vehicle too , prbably the same guy but hes paypal account has been suspended

just checked my email today a fourth username has offered me a second chance offer, however it is definitely not an "official" ebay offer, also had a third "warning" from ebay regarding an unsolicited offer from the seller.......very interesting indeed...........
