If it's 4x4x4, Kyosho and about three years old, it can only be the USA-1. Not a very good construction (partly very bad actually), but with potential if you're willing to invest. Gearboxes, ballends, steering and driveshafts are among the weakest points. In the Swedish version of the catalog, the distributor actually noted that they didn't recommend the model! If you got it cheap, it can easily be a good buy anyway! [:)]

If the model is older than 3 years, it can be the Double Dare. Basically same construction, but Nissan King Cab body instead of Chevy, and much smaller wheels and tires, but still big!

well, € 75 for the kit, with loader servo's receaver , transmitter ( a 4 channel), esc all bought new 3 jears ago.. so should be good stuff,

o jeah, its a twin engine i just read..

So it can break easy ????

GOOOOOOD!

i love to fix cars , more fun to drive them :)

when they work, run em until they die... then start over again.. lol

Thx for intel, still think i did a good deal!

Most of the Kyosho Monster truck (until very recently) all hark back to Kyosho's First Monster the BIG BRUTE which came out in the mid to late 80's as a direct competitor to Tamiya Black foot, to be fair it is a bigger truck than the BF, and an all original purpose built chassis (unlike the BF with a converted Buggy chassis) but its a very basic machine mechnically speaking and not really that fast, later version of the chassis added double ended Gearbox/Motor assemblies (Nissan Double Dare) and the ultimate was the USA-1 but its till only a modified version of the old Brute chassis and not really suitable for heavy customisation like the Tamiya Clodbuster/Jugg/TXT trucks

still for 75 euros with a load of Radio gear and an ESC its not a bad price, but still its a much aquired taste when compared to Tamiyas monsters [8)]

got it :)

well, a bit more work then i was thinking,

all in like new state, the tyres even never saw a "road" , i suspect a carpet at it most <lol>

some part are missing from the stearing system, so need to make some of my own i think. don't think kyosho still can carries these parts.

The manual is there, but.... deam, what a bad one!

(comparing to tamiya). well.. i figur it out... and then, some

mini-z crushing <lol>

bye
