Updated pics of my scorpion restoration

This weekend i was able to do some work to my scorpion. Here are some pics http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=11188&id=34. It is coming out nicely. I am in need of a few parts though. I need the counter gear and gear cover. A new or mint radio box. I really like the look of this buggy.

Hey Shodog?

I read your information you included with the pics, very nice indeed by the way- umm, did you say that you swung by the shop to pick up some parts for this antiquity? Can you still get parts for this thing easily? One more thing, do you know of anybody that has a manual for this buggy online? I got a box of parts myself, that I am trying to assemble. Thanks.

I've got a Scanner AND a manual for the COX Scorpion/Sidewinder

in fact while we are on the subject the car that Shodog is restoring IS a COX Scorp and not a Kyosho one?

and before you say it YES!! I know it has Kyosho Stamps all over it, but trust me the COX scorps had BLACK chassis and the original Kyosho ones were either Yellow or White on the Turbo versions.

then again some of the German Graupner Scorpions also had Black chassis as I recall :S

Your right Wldnas it is a cox scorpion. But how many people say they have an MRC frog? In the whole grand scheme of things it makes no difference to me. Personally I like the black radio tub better than a yellow or white one
