all the pics i find of both the inferno 10 and TR-15 show the engine on the wrong side, so i am leaning towards pure ten also, but i can't find a good naked pic of one

almost definitely an RTR car as the white servos are the kyosho "perfex" junk, and if you have the perfex TX also that clinches it

very well done, i even have that site bookmarked and neglected to check it...another mystery solved, this forum is outstanding

hope you enjoy the car

ahhhh nice...now we're talkin...i have a pretty comprehensive LM1 parts list here and the manual and other stuff here if you need one...and always happy to help with any inferno/landmax etc questions

I think you have just saved my life! I am having loads of problems finding what i need! like parts and bodies and other items! do u sell the parts then? what kinda prices and how much for a manual!

Posted

no, i don't sell anything or have any affiliation with kyosho, just a fan...manual is free on that second link (LM1manual.zip)...in the uk your source will be ripmax or any hobby shop that can order stuff from them (three five etc, ripmax has a dealer listing on their site)...

ok cheers, right i have one problem at the moment really and that is the compression of the engine i have been told that their is not much left but it will still run fine but will some time have to get a new engine but i have also been told by someone else to fix the compression is just to replace some of the engine parts! what would u day?

Posted

typically you would replace the piston and sleeve (and connecting rod if it has slop in the bushings) but assuming we are talking about the GS-21, it would be better to just replace it entirely

Posted

heheh...pretty much any, depends more on what you have available there...there are any number of nice inexpensive engines, ofna/picco sport or hyper 21, OS RG, SH/XTM etc...

That car is Kyosho's Alpha chassis, made in Korea.

It comes with a GX12 engine ("twelve"), do not confuse it with

the GX21 (twentyone) that comes in the larger 1/8th buggy.

The usual tank is plastic, that is a homemade one.

I have seen some batches of the Alpha tank to have minor

manufacturing defects (crack, leak), all are sorted under

warranty with our local importers.

You can buy a new piston & sleeve if your compression is bad, this

will allow you to rebuild the engine back to new specs. The

connecting rod does not need changing unless its real sloppy.

These cars are sold either RTR (painted shell, with white Perfex

radio gear or Almost-RTR (unpainted shell, no radio).

You can fit any standard 200mm touring car bodyshell.

Standard touring car wheels too.
