Hi guys (and girls)!

Does enybody know of a kit item number register like the one for Tamiya cars (58001 to 58...)

If this does not exist i would like to make one and since we are so many RC fanatics on this site, I hoped you all cold help me with this.So if you have a NIB kyosho or a cataloge please mail me the nams and number for the kits.I am doing this for fun and to help all collectors so any help wold be appreciated.I think this register wold be of help if you want to buy a Kyosho car.If you send me info from a catalog please tell me what year it is from so I can list witc one I allready have in this topic.

Kind regards

What a fantastic idea. I'll see what I have and shoot you an e-mail. Also, you may want to have part codes too. Like "UM" is for the ultima, "OT" for optima, etc.

I am going to call the Swedish importer (I hope this is the right word for it)and see if they can help me with some info.

I am wery happy for all the info I can get from you guys also as Kyosho is not the brand i know best.

Hey Don (Bluefoot), did you notice that the ultima Pro in your catalogue is the 3119 with extended wheelbase but the pic is the 3117 pro (Oops Kyosho!)

BTW

Ultima kit codes are:

3115 Original 1987

3116 Original Turbo

3117 Original Pro

3118 ultima II

3119 ultima II Pro (the Black One)

3120? ultima II Turbo

Cheers Glenn

I've checked the few Kyosho boxes I've got. May be a couple here that are useful:-

3115 Original ultima

3185 Super Bomber

3186 Raider ARR

30952A1 Ep ultima ST

30982 ATV Quad Rider EV

and

40002 Wavechopper Jetski, a boat not a car!!

Good luck sorting this out - Kyosho information has always been harder go come across than Tamiya stuff.

When Kyosho did go over to kit numbers with 5 digits it was like this.

10XXX electric plane

11XXX nitro plane

20XXX electric heli

21XXX nitro heli

30XXX electric cars

31XXX nitro cars

40XXX electric boats

41XXX nitro boats

The third number like 307XX was the year that the model was released in this case 1997.

I think Kyosho still follows this number pattern but I dont now I worked at Kyosho until 2000.

Also, when Great Planes axed it's Kyosho site, I spent days googling the cached pages and saving them. So, I do have that list I could compile.

Hmm... Well I'll start making something up and let you know how it progresses.

Wow, big list. Looking at this, it's hard to believe that it's been three years since I saved those pages!
