I owned this truck in 1991.

It´s basically an ultima II with big tyres and high capacity shocks.

From what I recall the building process is better than average, while the painting and decaling of the body is by far a much harder job.

The minispike tyres are really good. Some professional racers even used them in high level competitions back in the day.

Also, IMO, the body is very nice.

Kyosho released the Outlaw to compete with Tamiya´s King Cab. I´ve had the luck of owning them both and the KC is by far a better car. Kyosho´s product does not come with bearings in axles or transmision (although Im not so sure about this last bit), or a ball diff. The Outlaw´s transmission uses big 32pitch gears, while the KC has some nice 48pitch ones (Tamiya 48pitsch standard). Kyoshos truch did come with a nice 34° stock motor, which blasted any old mabuchi that came with the KC.

Hope this helps!

Basically it isn't a Tamiya, it isn't one of Kyoshos competition cars and it isn't anything special so it has a VERY limited market, highly unlikely to find anyone willing to pay much for it.

I remember a seller from Australia selling lots of them over a year ago. (same time/person I bought my Lazer ZX-R). He was selling them for $40 NIB if I remember correctly.
