I'm just starting to collect Tamiya models and am going to start off with some cars i had when i was a lad. Just wondering if theres a list floating round of Kits that are still available to order i.e through a model shop.

Just hoping to avoid paying over the odds on eBay for something still readily available.

Cheers.

The Midnight Pumpkin, Clod Buster and Super Hornet would be the first that come to my mind. I think Towerhobbies has them all right now, avaliability on other cars differ very.

The closest thing to see what's readily available would be the Tamiya Radio Control Guidebook, a yearly publication which costs about $80 and is available from most hobby stores.

Also if there's a particular model that interests you, a quick search in a search engine should tell if it's still available in stores or not.

Some suggested sites are www.tamiyausa.com and www.etamiya.com.

You can still buy the Blitzer Beetle and King Blackfoot I believe...

Cheers for the advice.

Really want to find a NIB Monster Beetle. Do these come up for sale very often ? Keeping in mind i live in the UK.

Started my collection off with a NIB Midnight Pumpkin off ebay. Hopefully the start of many kits to come hehehe.
