King Cab wheels -- equivalent??

Wondering if anyone knows of a wheel equivalent for the King Cab?

They're a racing truck wheel 2", with hex drive rear.

I tried the ones from the Dyna Blaster but unfortunately

this has about 10mm less offset than the white KC wheel.

Well Willy,

I use actual Wild Willy 2 rims and wheels on my King Cab. I have to compare them to the originals, don't know, but I believe they are 2.2".

I think the Wild Willy 2 is equal size to Mignight Pumpkin (they have the same tires). The 2.2" wheels from a Blackfoot are about 10% bigger, so I would say that WW2 wheels are 2"...

Doesn't the Dyna Blazter has 2.2"wheels and tires? You could use different tires of course. []

On the same topic: if there in no Tamiya equivalent, what other wheel brands con you fit in the truck that are the same size?

Is there any way to fit Kyosho one's or do you need some kind of adaptor?

Don't know exactly what size they are (the calliper says 2.1" but I

don't know which spot they should be measured from??), but

in terms of tyres:

1) WW2/Pumpkin are much too wide

2) KC tyres are same size (the mounting part) as Blackfoot & DB.

I've got the Dyna Blaster ones already.. but there's too little

offset and its fouling the innards. KingCab ones are perfect.

Yeah, just about to go out and raid the LHS; maybe something from

a Kyosho Ultima ST truck might be ok. Most of them use hexes too,

just not the Americans - luckily they're not very popular here. []

Was just thinking that they'd be too wide... But you could mount Pumpkin/WW2 tires to them, like Martin did:

Thanks for the offers guys, but I don't have a King Cab.

Just needing another pair of rears, to match the pair

(well, really the rears from a set of 4 F&Rs) for 4WD.

Visited the LHSes today... only found Stadium Blitzer fronts,

some Dyna Blaster F&Rs and that was it from the Tamiya sections.

But there was a lonely pair for a "GV Big Hammer"?

Dunno what that GV is, but it fits KC wheel dimensions perfectly! []
