Does anyone have a Nichimo buggy or info? I have part of a buggy I want to finish (maybe).

There are several nichimo buggies, 4wd, fwd and many early on road cars........

Which one are you talking about ?

as far as I know Nichimo only ever made 3 1:10 scale off-road buggies in the mid to late eighties, they were the COSMO SHOOTER (A futeristic looking RWD) the SPIRIT FF (a chunky looking FWD) and the EXCEED 443 (a complicated 4WDS with 3 diffs that used many similar parts to the Spirit FF) thay are extreamly rare cars and quite hard to come by, they do crop up on E**y from time to time and are usually MIB examples, prices vary from $50-60 for the Cosmo upto $170-200 for the Exceed with the Spirit somewhere inbetween. they seem to be very accumplised models built to a similar standard as Tamiyas but you can forget getting hold of parts or even seeing used examples up for sale cos you just dont get them. if you are looking to find one on E**y then your best off looking in the Tamiya searches

They also made another 1/10 buggy called the Vantage (pretty sure it was fwd and 4ws).......will do a bit of research on that one !

They made alot of on raod cars in the late 70's and early 80's.

Nichimo Vantage.... Never herad of it! but then again that name sounds about right for one of their cars so who knows. If you can dig up any info on it let me know, I have a trick which might yeild a pic of the box Maybe

Well Whadda yah know. that little trick I know worked. the Nichimo Vantage is a similar car to the Spirit FF, its a Front wheel drive car with front mounted motor but its got a Full roll cage over the lexan cover a bit like the Kyosho Icarus. its got a diferent wheel design to the Spirit and has pin spike tires instead of block pattern.

well there you are, you learm something new everyday.

oh and that trick I know for finding pics of obscure jap made RC buggy boxes.... netsmiths give me the idea, but on http://rc-off.com/vantage.html just change the "vantage" word to the name of any Jap made RC buggy and 8-10 times it will come up with pictures of that car try it

I have 2 Nichimo Exceeds in Awesome shape, plus a bunch of parts. Is your RWD, FWD, or 4WD/4WS. If it is 4WD/4WS it is the Exceed and I moght be able to help, uless you want to buy all this stuff I have as an option.

I have the Spirit FF (FWD), but it looks like they all have the same front end? If you have extra front end parts I wonder if they would work for me? I pretty much need the whole front end everything. I don't know if it would be worth it or not. But please let me know.

Well, to be honest, I think you would be better off trying to pick up a whole vehicle with the parts you need. You can typically pick them up for 50 - 70 dollars on Eb*y. Then sell what you dont need or keep it for spares.
