Wow are these things great, beat all the others from what i can see, just the fact that they have proportional steering makes them worth the small extra dosh, also faster than the bit g's etc... and they do A REALLY COOL MINIlogo_member2.gif

Yeh Willy, got me thinking that did, but have you ever tried a Vectron ? that's ir and it works really well, i can't get enough of them, always have a go in my local model shop , i should be on commision the amount i have sold for them, just by getting others to see it flying.

Back to the cars though, They do have 5 different channels as it were too use,

Have u tried one yet?

I am taking one out for a test drive tomorow, hee hee.

Have tried the DigiQs, they're cute and faster than a stock b1.0 Bit CharG but pretty hard to hop-up.

But I don't like cars that skidsteer (yes, have driven a Ford TC Cortina before) and also hate IR - have trouble enough with the VCRs.

Bits have more appeal...

Must agree with Willy I have both these and *****ar g but prefer my bits everytime. I guess I just like 'proper' steering better. And with 2.6 or 3.0 motors the Bits are just as quick.

Local guy sells lights for Bit's and extra capacity batteries too...

Ya! I just saw "Mike's Mods" BCG light kit with 1) headlights 2) brake lights 3) reverse light 4) turnsignals!! and the tail LEDs glow dimly when driving but not braking.

err... what's "braking" on a Bit?? icon_smile_shy.gif

Well i finally got to have a go with both types, didn't like the i racer too much, and the bcg's i thought were a little better but was amazed at the amount of room needed, there is no way u could race on a A4 piece of paper like they advertise, i think i'll stick with my mini Z's and tamtech's for now. Are you going to take your bitg's to clumber Chris? be nice to see an uprated one.

Mike:- If you played with a UK-spec 'Compact' CharG (which last I heard only comes in Skyline and S2000), then it'll have a b2.2 motor in it from the box; Oz gets the same.

With the b2.2 its probably too fast to run on even an empty desk or large table... a fullsize pool table would be cool.

The later Jap cars have b1.0 motors, so they're much slower. Boring yes, but hopefully a bit more controllable.

The DigiQs have switchable speeds to slow it down.

Cheers Willy , that's good to know, explains alot. think i'd get thrown out of the local snooker club if i booked an hour and raced around! lol.

What do they go like on carpet, do they run allright or do they need a really flat smooth surface? the digi's sound good being changeable, i haven't tried them yet. Shame no where caters for these little things, you'd think the shops would have a large table with some demo ones for customers to try. i want to be happy with what i choose before i splash out the bucks, lol.
