I have just received a used playtron lynx in the mail. Thankfully, its complete, and I dont need to hunt down any nonexhistant parts. Very cool, simple old car. I will post pics as soon as I get batteries for my digicam.

Ive got a Doberman the Lynx's Black Coloured 2WD brother, unfortunatly my Doberman isn't is too good condition and Ive had to cobble it together with what parts I could find for now.

I would like to see some pics of your Lynx though, I know the two cars were very similar but I've never actually seen a Lynx before so apart from it being a white bodied 4WD version of the Doberman I havnet a clue what its looks like, I am keen to see how the 4WD system was implemented on that car.

If you need some metal parts for doberman, I may be able to help. Monthes ago, I purchased a box of parts from a clubmember , and it is a bunch of metal parts for doberman and lynx. No plastic Im fraid. I still havent gotten batteries for my digicam, but I will soon, and take pics. The space frame has an additional black transmission up front, joined to the rear by a music wire prop shaft. It uses equal size A arms top and bottem for the front suspention. I think the rear trailing arms look very much like frog rear arms. This one actually has frog shocks in back, and the original shock up front. Regarding the rarity of this car. Last one I have seen for sale was about 4 1/2 years ago on ebay. I had a proxy bid of 45.00,, and was outbid by 1.00. It sold, NIB for 46.00 USD. I was new to ebay then, and had no idea of how high I should have bid. I have only been able to find this one parts lot mentioned above, and no others. Do you have any spare plastic? If so, perhaps we can swap. Let me know what metal parts you may need and I will see if I have them. I need a front bumper, new, used, dosent matter. Boompowshazam@aol.com
