I just got this tree in today. It is claimed to be part of a Hirobo Zerda but I cannot see anything on the member's pictures of the Zerda that looks like it is on this tree. It came along with a NIB Zerda chassis and roll cage parts.

Cheers,

Mikie, not sure which car it is from but it is does not belong to the Zerda. Hirbo cars, at least the Zerda, Alien and Invader, doesn't have parts trees. All the parts are individual pieces.

That big tiangular arm looks familiar, Kyosho Maxxum FF??

I suspect that Mr Owl is correct, although I have not seen one up close, I too think these bits are off a Kyosho Maxxum FF, the large triangular pieces are actually the rear lower suspension wishbones on the car.

I happen to have some of these parts as spares too ;)

Alan,

Since you have a NIB Maxxum FF in your showroom if you get a chance could you have a look to see if it is indeed a parts tree for the Maxxum? (Or are you sure that it is?) Also does this tree fit any other Kyosho buggies or cars?

Thanks for the help fellows!

Yeap. That's a part tree for the Kyosho Maxxum FF. Just looked up the manual. Unfortunately, for once, kyosho just made one of these FF buggies so as far as I know, it will only fit the Maxxum FF.

Hey Night Owl,

That manual for the Maxxum FF, that would not be something you have scanned and on your computer by chance? I got one of these cars, almost complete, and need a manual to help put it all back together.

Nope. Don't have a scanner. Sorry.

You want me to send you a copy??

Thanks Night Owl, that would be fabulous. Do you have any type of paper type things you need, besides Tamiya manuals.....I have a good packet full of miscellaneous stuff, so you never know. Just let me know if you can actually do this, I am in the US.

Yeah, paper stuff, ya know, like any manual or instruction type thing for some hop up or something, i.e. directions for mip tranny, etc. I just picked up a load of rc stuff from some guy in Pennsylvania, and I got a whole file box full of instructions for stuff they bought for their cars during the time they were in the hobby. Mostly mid 80's through early 90's. I will send you an email with address info as soon as I can get my .....ing internet to hold the connection for more than half a minute.
