Midnight Man 0 Posted December 16, 2002 I've a problem with my Blitzer Beetle: after I close the gear case the differential is stucked and it doesn't work properly, also the gear itself seems to have similar problems. the only solution seems to loosen the gear case screws, but it doesn't sound as a good idea....[] Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TWINSET 1793 Posted December 16, 2002 Don't mean to sound condascending, but did you take the spacer off the motor after fitting the gear?? A mate of mine built one up with the spacer in place and had a badword of a job ('til he removed it) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
tr174 0 Posted December 17, 2002 Sounds like you may have put the diff gear in backwards. Check your manual, the diff gear can only go in one way. Another place to check is the outdrive bearings/bushings in the tranny case, make sure you have them in and they are seated properly. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
