R/C Honda ATC - who made it?

Many years ago I used to own a radio controlled Honda ATC 250, the 3-wheeled off-road motrocycle. I thought it was a Kyosho model but now I'm not so sure, it may be something like 'Shinsei' - anybody have any ideas?

I think it was 1/8 scale, used a 380 motor and 6V nicad and had a rider figure on it. The tyres were balloon style and it came with a little rubber 'bulb' and a lethal looking needle that you could push into the tyre and adjust the pressures. It was wheelie crazy and had a tiny wheel at the back to stop it tipping over. I don't think it had any suspension, just the bounce of the tyres.

Most likely the one you had was the Kyosho one. It was sold under the Cox name in certain places. I think it was based on the same chassis as a truck and dune buggy they had.

I have the shinsei one. It's about 1/8 scale. Eventhough it has proporational steering, It's more toy quality than Hobby quality

Ive been after the Kyosho one for a while, but havent really been looking lately. Would love to have one of these babys to run. I remember Jason sold one on eBay last year but is missed the end of the auction.
