Its the first PB Mustang. The car is based on the PB on road car of the time, with off road tyres fitted. The chain drive on the circuit car was replaced on the Mustang by 2 O rings from the layshaft to the solid rear axle. It used to come with a Ford Escort rally car bodyshell.

Yep, Mustang - PB's first ever offroad car.

Body is the Mk1 Escort.

It is based on their PB Alpha 1/8th car, that's where all the

red bits come from. The race car had a chain-driven ball diff

with dogbones... which was simplified to the 2-belts & solid

rear axle(?) for offroad duty.

Memory says it had knobblies at the back and ribbed at the front.

Looks like you're missing a bulkhead on the rear? [:0]

Thanks for that guy`s i did wonder if it was early PB but wasn`t really sure.

Are these things rare or just old and boring.......
