I'm interested to know what people think of the current range of Academy models. They have quite a varied range, here are some below:

I am was very impressed with the quality of the kits, what does everyone else think?

Some of these cars do look impressive - especially the AC1594 Sb sport 4wd.

This car looks like a hybrid of Yokomo's MX4 buggy and their shaft-drive Touring cars. I wouldn't mind getting one [:D]

You can get more info at www.modelrectifier.com

They are the US distributors - pity they won't ship outside the US or Canada [:(]

Out of all the Academy cars, the SB Sport is the one that I get the most interest in. I will be running one of them this year. The kit and spares prices are also very good, just as well with my driving! [:I]

Do you have one? If not when are they available?

Edit: I just checked your website[8D], do you ship to Australia?

Pity about the exchange rate, from the UK the car will cost approx $330AU, from the US (if it is possible) approx $270AU [:(]

I do ship to Australia but I would have thought that it would be cheaper buying it more locally. If you can’t find someone in Australia, email me and I’ll give you a price.

SB looks like a buggy developement of the very nice str4 touring car. Imagine if tamiya turned the tb evo into a buggy! If this sb comes out soon enough, I will campaign it locally. Are they available yet?

Yes [:D] You can get them in the UK or New Zealand or from MRC's website in the US.

No local importer for us Aussies [:(] but they're only $330 AU from ace hobby in NZ - that's just over half price of a stock Losi XXX4 [:0]

On another forum I've been talking to a guy in England who's started running one and he's been really impressed.
