Brass tubing and soldering .. this can't be strong enough?

It doesn't say brass tubing so I would assume it was solid brass rod which is more than strong enough.

Maybe the brass is good but soldering can't compare to welding in strength. Seems the joints would easily break under stress if they were soldered together.

this same solder is used in the pipe joints of the water pipes in your house. while no it might not be as strong as welding it would be sufficent for what he has done with it

but would not want to run that construction for some serious car crushing!

the brass will hold, but those soldered joints.... nehhh... <snap>

to bad, never found any nice 90C , 45C and other small joints to make something like that. If you could find small one's, everybody could make his own chassis at will.

mmmm... if somebody would make that joints, and sell it as a kit, guess he can do pretty good!

Should be cool to do a FAV cage car from solid alu tubes/rods.It would might make it more authentic, but probably a bit heavy.
