What are the main differences between this car and the normal Jr-X 2?

Any particular weak points I should look for in a used model?

Turns out I can swap my horrible Kyosho Lazer 2000 in my LHS for one of these. From what I can tell the transmission and suspension are working ok, but is there anything I should keep an eye on?

¡Thanks!

The Jrx Pro is quite a lot different from the Jrx2.

The pro has a long wheelbase chassis with 30 degree kickup in the front (castor), whereas the Jrx2 had only around 15 degrees.

The Pro has a long front shock tower with matching long shocks and even longer shocks on the rear. The Jrx2 rear shocks are the same length as the Pro's front shocks.

The Pro ditched the 5 link rear suspension and used a more regular lower H arm set up.

I think the only difference in the gearbox was that the brass Jrx2 layshaft gear was replaced with a steel one.

The Pro doesn't really have any weak points. They were very strong and competative in their day. I would however check the inside hinge pins on the rear suspension as they were prone to breaking where the e-clips go.
