Very, very nice.

I generally hate it when people dye the white nylon parts on the old Traxxas (and I guess AE) cars, but the blue/gold combo really looks great on that one.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I am really proud of the way it has turned out. I took some new pictures of it as the ones I had were blurry in some areas

I trimmed out the body. since I am using the graphite chassis I tried to contur the fron of the body around the front suspension parts. I installed a set of stock rear suspension arms that I dyed blue to match the fronts.

I saw at my hobby shop they had some translucent Tamiya polycarbonate spray paint. I was thinking of doing a couple of designs in the body then backing it all with Alclad chrome. It would tie the Blue and gold along with the polished aluminum accents and wing. What do you think about this paint idea?

I think that would look great,

it would get some sort of "oil stain on water" effect.. right??

That is absolutely fantastic! I love the wheels. I was wondering if you used the stock rc10 graphite chassis, or a custome cut chassis? How did you get the belt to fit? On the 410 legend, the aluminum tub is cut shorter. Did you have to do any thing like that to the graphite chassis? Over the monthes I have collected a large lot of 410 legend parts, and am still collecting to make a really cool custome 4wd rc10. I have a sassy chassis hardened aluminum plate chassis, but its slightly too short, and the belt needs some extra pullys to wind around to take up slack. Now your carbon chassis car really sparks my interest!

All I had to do was drill holes for the front tranny and re-drill new holes for the front steering bell cranks. I have the MIP belt tensioner but I need to double check that it will clear inside the body.

E-mail me privately as I have a few extras I don't need. You might have some that I do need
