Futaba pistol radios are great, let me start by saying that.

But don´t you find it quite annoying no to be able to know the exact neutral positioning for the steering and throttle trims in their 2PH and 2PHKA controllers? (See here http://www.futaba-rc.com/radios/futj13.html)

Both of these are inserted near the steering wheel, seemingly in a place where your settings can´t be changed by hitting the knobs accidentally.

On old 2PH models (Magnun series) these two buttons protruded from the controller, making adjustments easier.

Anyway aroung this?

There is a fine line on each knob marking the center of the knob. There is a molded-in bump on the front of the controller near the opening for each knob. When the mark on the knob is lined up with the bump on the controller, it's centered. It's certainly not as easy to see as it was with the exposed knobs, but it is there.

The center bump (circled in green) is wider than the others (circled in red). If you line it up with the bump on the transmitter (circled in blue), that's neutral. Sorry for the bad pic, it's the best I could do at this magnification.
