Have another go! I've got a horrible feeling that when I tried to insert a link once I had to convert the uppercase characters in the tags to lowercase... or maybe that was another board...?

If it doesn't work next time, just put it in the text...

Its a PB Mini Mustang from 1987! also later known as Mini Mustang Eco and Maxima.

Do a search, there's a few past threads on PB's 1st 1/10th electric.

Your example has wrong (too short) springs on the rear shocks (original shockers), front shocks are non-orig. The red wheels are orig PB (same as Hotshot fitment), not sure about tyres if they're orig or replacements.

Looks like a plain layshaft 1spd spurgear; there's also a 2spd version of the Mini Mustang. They came as 2WD & 4WD kits as well... is yours 2WD only?

Thanks Willy, this is an auction pic, I wanted to know what it was before I bid on it. It looks like it will go for about $30.00 USD. I'm not too familiar with the PB kits. There aren't too many of these here in the states. I may just have to pick this one up. I'll have to look into parts though. Are these common in the UK?

Hey vintagercweb.... that's a nice Mini Mustang there.... looks to be in good condition, and for US$30, it's certainly a bargain.... I know I'd buy it...

If you do get it and need parts, or decide you want to sell it on, contact me, I have a bunch of parts for these, as well as a couple of chassis in restoration.

vintagercweb,

Did you manage to win the auction? Email me if you need parts. I don't have the body or chassis, but do have just about everything down to the last screw. I'm located in Hawaii. What State are you in?

Awesome find bro!

Later,

D
