hello.does anyone have info on the mrc world scale baja king....

apperently there where a few versions.......some with motors and speedos........and one without..........im geting a baja king bbx model.......any info on this model i appreciate thanks

The MRC Baja King was a 1/7 scale buggy that came out in the early 90´s. It had two 540 motors and one mechanical speed control wicth you could connect two baterries (I think). Apparently the thing was so big, even the two stockers could only drive it to moderate speed.

The "World Scale" models never became very popular. They cost about $200 when they first came out.

thanks el mexican........i got magazine test on the thunder king and the buggy version.........im really just wanting to know what kit version i bought.....its the bbx version...i think it doesnt include motor's or speedo or bearings......but im wondering if it is any different any other way....i guess ill find out when it gets here....only payed 119 for it nib......

well i found out the one im geting.will have bushings..no motor and speedo....should be here monday.....for those who dont know...the baja king has higher gearing than the other versions.from what i have read.......and mrc had a big meeting for these world scale buggys....they were thinking they would revolutionalize r/c....i hope i spelled that correctly

well after 10 days of waiting on it.i called the place and the guy said they never sent it off cause they dont have it in stock like there web page said they did..........so for now i deposited the money back into my check book and went to get lots of food.....they do have the version with bearings and motors though.i might buy it later

Vaughn, I wouldn't stress too much as those trucks are not that great in the first place. They are really too big and too underpowered to be much fun. At least you got your money back and with it, you can buy another RC-10 [:P]

hi Jim....yea your probly right.... as for the rc-10s im already geting urges to sell the ones i got now...i really enjoy collecting them and fixing them up and painting them.but after that i loose interested
